Last night, many years from now, I met up with a friend for cocktails. Unfortunately the brand new display I installed in the janky time machine was leaking tiller fluid and I got it all over my shirt, so I stopped into a clothing store to buy a new one so I wouldn’t show up to the bar like a slob.

I grabbed this nice fitting shirt and I had to sign a user agreement before putting it on. Turns out I also own this shirt in the metaverse now. While I can’t speak for the feel of the pixels and shading virtually — at least not yet — I can attest to the quality of the fit and fabric IRL. I’ll have to come back to this timeline and find a metaverse pod to jack into and try on these new duds again for the first time, digitally.
