Due to the limits of Gen AI to create entirely new combinations of sounds, I heard reports coming out that some outputs were eerily similar to each other. Copyright infringement law gets triggered and the move to litigation has seen some uptick. AI legal bots, tasked with representing, defending and holding court over the procedures have gone a long way in automating tasks, examining relevant legal precedent, etc. in the arena of music copyright law, these AI bots are changing the game on mathematizing how similar or different songs are. Ed Sheeran and others are playing a key role (and inve$ting) in the development of this tech

Ever since the Sheeran fAIr Abuse Law was passed—more colloquially known as the 'Don't Say Gaye' bill—the rise of Nano-Litigation Loops has given new meaning the the term Trial Period, which is now the early stage of every musical release where a simulated legal trials are conducted to establish where the composition lands on the copyright spectrum.
