Listen, I’m not one to pass up a roadside find, nor am I above dumpster-diving, especially in the future. You wouldn’t believe the amazing things that get tossed out.

Anyway, I dawned my chore coat and spill-resistant overalls to get a hold of this future-vintage appliance. I was hoping its antenna was still tuned to the over-the-air frequencies in this time, and I wasn’t disappointed.

I brought it into the janky time machine and gave it a little juice and watched some TV of the era. I caught this promo for Survivor GPT. I’m guessing they’re in their 200 and something season by now. I could see myself getting into this competition. I’m not sure exactly what the rules are, but colour me curious.

Anyway, time to head back to my primeline and see how many years this signal lasts until it turns to static.
