Radiant Feel
In late 2023 I was approached by Susan Wilhite to help her with a design fiction idea she wanted to present in her Pecha Kucha for a Speculative Futures event.
After Susan shared her concept for an emotional communications device, we engaged in a creative session to explore potential design fiction artifacts. The accompanying image above is a conceptual advertisement for this idea.
To further materialize this concept, I crafted a comprehensive user guide, envisaged as part of the product's packaging. This guide was designed to be print-ready, enabling Susan to distribute printed copies following her presentation. The Quick Start Guide is rich in details, covering both usage and maintenance of the 'Radiant Feel' patch. It is designed not just to inform, but also to provoke thought and invite questions about the broader implications and possibilities of this device.
