Here's an update straight from the workshop I'm currently leading at Cranbrook Academy of Art, where I'm working with 4D and architecture students. Our creative project involves envisioning design fiction artifacts set in a near-future Detroit, which we plan to compile into a city guide reminiscent of Wallpaper magazine. During one of our brainstorming sessions, I used a prompt related to autonomous bus subscriptions in my Design Fiction Generator GPT, and to my delight, it quickly generated a well-thought-out and visually appealing concept with mostly readable text.
Here’s the generator’s articulation of the idea.
A monthly subscription card for an autonomous bus service in Detroit. It's sleek, metallic, with a holographic skyline of Detroit. The card includes a dynamic QR code that updates with real-time bus schedules and routes personalized for the user's most frequented destinations. It's called the "Motor City Mover."
Get into the groove, bus you gotta move my butt monthly
