As we talked about our favorite songs music, one classic tune had me stumped. I couldn’t think of the name or even the artist. Enter: my mate's earbuds with a nifty brain-scanning app. A few moments later, just by thinking of the melody, song mystery solved!

I recall glimpses of this tech's origins in my primeline. Who'd have thought it'd go mainstream so swiftly? Next up: I'm thinking of songs that never were and seeing what the app does. AC/BeeGees mashup, anyone?
