It would cost me 1,000 SATs to access the men’s room.
Upon inspection of the surprisingly heavy coins it appears that I was holding a global currency issued by the Clippy GPT World Government. As it turns out, AI quickly moved to general intelligence and in even quicker succession became super-intelligent. It pattern-recognized that humans aren’t capable of making smart decisions, so now it runs things.
The bonus is that nobody has to pay for Microsoft Office in this timeline.
